The ASBC Board of Directors schedules an extraordinary meeting in November 

The ASBC Board of Directors meeting confirmed that the next ASBC Extraordinary Congress will be held in Bangkok on November 23

The Asian Boxing Confederation arranged its next Board of Directors Meeting on September 22 two days ago and the management decided to convene a new Extraordinary Congress due to the threat of the potential removal of boxing from the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira and the Board of Directors decided to arrange the next ASBC Extraordinary Congress in Bangkok, Thailand on November 23 before the ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships.
Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira issued his previous statement after the ASBC Extraordinary Congress which was held in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates during the competition period of the ASBC Asian Junior & Schoolboys & Schoolgirls Boxing Championships.

Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira decided to resign his position on the IBA Board of Directors on August 31 after the ASBC Extraordinary Congress to keep the focus only to save boxing’s Olympic future.

The Asian Boxing Confederation underlined once again during its Board of Directors Meeting to support the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the integrity, the unity and the full Olympic movement.
