The current crop of elected executives also includes former IBF champ Josh EKREM who has been appointed the WBF North American Coordinator.
Josh Ekrem have been involved in the sport of boxing since the age of six with an extensive adult amateur background of 68-4. He is a former IBF and IBO middleweight champion, and also garnered an Mixed martial arts ( MMA) welterweight Championship after retiring from boxing.
Ekrem was formerly the Executive Vice President of the World Boxing Union (WBU), and has a degree in Criminal Justice from the prestigious Criminal Justice program at American Intercontinental University in the United States.
He has devoted his life to giving back to boxing with his experiences inside and outside of the ring.
Boxing is blessed to have these noble and accomplished personalities now gracing the World Boxing Foundation.
