Isaac the Royal Storm Dogboe (20-1,14KOs) and team Dogboe have accepted that fact that they under estimated Mexican boxer Emanuel Navarrete (26 -1, 22 KOs) hence paying a big price in the process.

“Team Dogboe has accepted defeat because we under estimated the Mexican Emanuel Navarrete.” Isaac Dogboe magnanimously acknowledged on his facebook wall.

The former WBO world super bantamweight titlist and Team Dogboe not only admitted having learnt lessons but is equally optimistic of a strong comeback for his strap.

“We have learnt from this experience and we will come back stronger.” The message continued.

As it’s often said, being defeated is often a temporary condition and most Ghanaians are absolute sure that the ‘Royal Storm’ is going to hit the ring stronger than before.

The bookmaker’s favourite and the man still touted to rule the bantamweight division for a long time had some kinds words for his supporters

“God bless you all and thank you to everyone who has supported us.” He concluded.

Isaac Dogboe suffered his first ever defeat in his young professional boxing career on December 8 against Emanuel Navarrete of Mexico in a fight that the Ghanaian simply looked a shadow of his old self.

But the champion will have a second bite of the cherry come May of this year 2019.

The rematch clause has already been activated according to father and trainer of dethroned World Boxing Organisation (WBO) super bantamweight champion Paul Dogboe.
