SWAG ‘Anoints’ Isaac Dogbe Ahead Of Navarrete Rematch

Ahead of Isaac Dogbe’s rematch against Emmanuel Navarrete, the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), has sent a goodwill message to the Ghanaian boxer in support as he bids to win back the WBO Super Bantamweight title.

Isaac Dogbe will be challenging Emmanuel Navarrete to win back the title after losing it in December last year when he fought the Mexican. Having had close to four months to prepare for the rematch, the “Royal Storm” as he is nicknamed is looking to redeem himself and take back his lost glory.

A statement from SWAG has indicated that the Association is confident the boxer will successfully see off Emmanuel Navarrete and bring home the world title.

“We are solidly behind him in his quest to bring honour to the country. SWAG is happy with your preparations ahead of the bout and we urge you to do more in your conquest to become a world champion again,” the statement added.

The Association further entreats team Dogboe to stay focus and provide all the necessary assistance to ensure a successful outing and reclaim the title which he lost last year.

The crucial bout will take place at midnight at the Tucson Arena, Arizona, USA.
