Jamestown Boxing Club yesterday got blessed with lots of boxing equipment donated by the Streetwise Boxing Foundation, which is owned by Ghanaian boxing guru, Michael Amoo-Bediako Snr over the weekend in Accra-Ghana.
Among the equipment donated to Jamestown Boxing Club were gloves, boots, tops, bottoms, pads, and more.
The chief executive officer of the Foundation, Amoo-Bediako who doubles as manager of former world champion Richard Commey in a short video showed his appreciation to Boxfit, one of the UK’s largest boxing equipment suppliers, for the donations they made to Streetwise Boxing Foundation.
“From the bottom of my heart I’d like to thank @boxfituk for this unbelievable donation of boxing equipment for my @streetwisefoundationgh. For your continuing support, may God bless you all, Ken, Doug, Adam, Ollie, and everyone at the unit. I can’t thank you enough.” He expressed.
In attendance at the Boxing Club during the donation were Nuumo Klan, Asafoatse Abashie II, Africanus Neequaye Snr, Nii Akotolante, Archibald Nii, Martei Armah, Coach Randy, Coach Nuhu, Yusif Nanor and many others.
This act of kindness from Streetwise management will go a long way to help the boxers; professionals, amateurs, and the younger ones realize their dreams of becoming future champions.
More of this from other corporate bodies will be of great benefit to the sport.
Well done to Streetwise Boxing Foundation, and God bless Box Fit as well.
