Rising Featherweight star Stanley Nyantakyi nicknamed “The Ashanti Warrior ” annexed the first championship strap of his career after a dominant win over rugged Togolese slugger: Komlangan Hounkpatin.
The well attended event was put together by Gordon Frimpong’s Osebor Boxing Management And Promotions in collaboration with Bronx Boxing Promotions.
Stanley Nyantakyi who trains out of the Bronx Boxing Gym in Accra entered the ring accompanied by a huge entourage and did not fail to impress.
He pummelled the Togolese until the latter refused to answer the bell for the fifth round.
Manager Gordon Frimpong and Trainer Lawrence Carl Lokko both agreed that the win signalled the beginning of greater feats for the young Ghanaian.
