Ghana’s Olympic Bronze Medalist, Samuel Takyi aka the Ring Warrior won his first professional fight via a round 2 technical knock out over Kamarudeen Boyefio at the Ga Mashie Hall of the Trust Sport Emporium on Friday, April 15, 2022.

The happy Takyi (1-1-0) said he is ready for anyone in the lightweight division and he is aiming to get to the world stage in three years time.

The no match opponent, Kamarudeen Boyefio (21-11-10) went down three times in the first round, and had to be save by referee Erasmus Owoo in the second round when he was turned into a punching bag.

Yours Truly will be happy if Takyi gets the right opposition to really test him. We however congratulate him.

The bout was put up by Bazooka Promotions.
