Wisdom Boxing Promotions, Winner of Boxing Ghana’s best boxing promotions house for 2023, returns in 2024 with an exciting show for boxing lovers. In a WBP style, the bout is centered on the Eid Mubarak, a celebration of Islamic after a month long of fasting (Ramadan).
Salafest; ‘The Return of the Beast’ event is headlined by Bastie Samir against Idowu Rasheed (Nigeria) in a 10 round UBO Africa Lightheavyweight Championship.
Bastie hopes to reclaim the love of Ghanaians who have not seen him in action for nearly 2 years. Bastie Samir speaking on Metro TV during Phil Quartey segment of the news appealed to Ghanaians not to count him out yet.

Salafest is happening on the 13th of April at the Decathlon, Kawukudi Car Park, boxing starts at 5:00pm.
Wisdom Boxing Promotions’ CEO Coach Asare, has shown his commitment to showcase next generation boxers and this event will have an amateur show comprising of Juniors, Elite and a female bout. The amateur bouts are headlined by Theophilous Allotey; a 2 time African bronze medalist.
The fight night will also feature a. E-Boxing tournament regulated by the Ghana Esports Association.
