Safe-Box Promotion and Management pens down a deal with Desmond Papoe
Safe-Box Promotion and Management has announced its new signing in the person of amateur boxer Desmond Papoe from the Jamestown Boxing Club which happened last Thursday, May 25.
In a close-up convo with the founder of Safe-Box Promotion and Management, Mubarak Yusif Nanor who doubles as a boxing Matchmaker, Agent, & Promoter revealed that the promotional deal with Papoe is a deal meant to support Pappoe, a featherweight (55kg) amateur till he turns pro.
Desmond Pappoe also known as “Young 10Gee” is expected to continue his amateur career till next year before turning professional.
“He’ll [Pappoe] still be in amateur till next year before turning pro” reveals Mr. Nanor who’s popularly known as Nii Jnr.
The Ghanaian boxing manager further disclosed to Boxinghana.com that Safe-Box Promotion and Management is yet to have a professional boxer in its stable as all its three signees are amateurs. He also revealed exclusively to your most authoritative portal that three more boxers will soon join the team.
The promotional and management syndicate is currently being supported by Bronya Boxing and Mr. Suleman Addo (brother of Mr. Yussif) with provisions of boxing equipment to motivate the boxers under its stables.
According to him, Safe-Box is open to receiving more sponsorships from those who share equal vision with them to lift Ghana Boxing to another level.
Safe-Box Promotion and Management was established last year, February 22, 2022, in collaboration with Bronya Boxing to give Ghana Boxing a new face. The founder, Mubarak Yussif, said they’re passionate about the success of Ghana boxers.
