Mr. Samuel Anim Addo of Baby Jet Promotions yesterday presented a gift of items to his newly signed boxer John Laryea at the Bronx Boxing Gym in Jamestown, Accra-Ghana.
The gift which included the newest energy drink in the beverage market which is produced by Twillum industries is called “GO ON energy drink.”
John Laryea is a fantastic boxer who is consistently curving for himself a great image and a strong brand hence it comes as no surprise that Twillum industries equally noted for providing quality services, premium brands that exceed the expectations of customers decided to associate itself with the young pugilist.
For a beverage firm which was only incorporated in Ghana in September 2013, it is gradually monopolizing the market with some of its known products like Rush Energy drink, Original American Cola, Planet Range as well as Bubble Up Lemon Lime.
Receiving the gift item, both Carl Lawrence Lokko and Samuel Anim Addo reiterated the commitment to working for the success of all stakeholders involved.
The Chief Executive Officer of Gyan Investment signed John Laryea in October from the stables of the famous Bronx Boxing Gym which is owned and managed by the very experienced Carl Lawrence Lokko.
The ceremony though unannounced, was much attended by many locals including the media.
John Laryea is making a comeback today at the Bukom ‘Fist Of Fury’ tournament ongoing at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra.
Yesterday was the weigh-in ceremony at the same venue and tonight sees the young boxer going for his second career fight after dispatching his opponent Emmanuel Laryea via a TKO.
Many have tipped the young boxer to go far, with industry players predicting him as a world title prospect for Ghana within the shortest possible time.
Remember, He fights tonight at the third ‘fist of fury’ tourney which promises to be exciting with the likes of George Ashie aka ‘Red Tiger’ against Korley Collison, Ben Ankrah aka ‘Congo Soldier’ facing Felix Ajom aka ‘Alvaro’ for the Professional Boxing Council (PBC) Ghana and West African title, Isaac Nettey versus Richmond Commey for the national featherweight title.
