The current Top IBF contender Richard Commey has sent a thank you message to friends, fans and family all over the globe for the continued support in 2018

“I would like to thank all my friends, family and fans around the world for your continued support during this year.” He said.

The Ghanaian world title hopeful whose only blemish came via agonizingly disputed close split decisions on the road, to Robert Easter Jr. for the vacant IBF 135-pound world title strap and Denis Shafikov in Russia of the same year 2016, is optimistic of the coming year which commenced today.

“It was a great year for me, I’ve had great wins and learnt loads in training and met some good people along the way.

I wish you all a happy healthy 2019. I’m excited what this next year is going to bring for me and I’m ready for it.”

The Ghanaian must fight Isa Chaniev for an opportunity to win the now vacant International Boxing Federation world title come next month on the 2nd of February in Texas.

“See you all soon and thanks once again.” Commey concluded.
