The former IBF Champion and a 2X world champion hopeful, Richard Oblitey Commey, on the Easter Sunday 12th April, wished everyone a happy Easter as the world celebrated the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ during the weekend.

The former world champ via twitter posted this yesterday adding a reminder of staying safe amidst the coronavirus pandemic
“I want to wish everyone a Happy Easter and for everyone to stay safe and stay indoors so we can beat this virus.”

The Streetwise Foundation Global Ambassador having noticed how intense the lightweight division has become, reassured his fans one more time of his focus to reclaim the title he lost last year to Teofimo Lopez

“Also I can see the lightweight division is hotting up so I can’t wait to get back in the mix and win my title back. 🙏🏿🥊🇬🇭”

The SWAG professional boxer of the year (2019) Richard Commey, is a man on a mission and has mentioned several times of his intention to become a world champion for the second time.

Several boxers in the lightweight division like Gervonta Davis, Lee Selby, Emmanuel Tagoe, Javier Fortuna, etc have shown the willingness by their records of becoming world champions.

Till then, boxingdom, with joint hands, is fighting COVID 19, and we’re praying it passes away soon. Like Richard Commey said, “Stay safe and stay indoors so we can beat this virus.” 🙏🏿🥊🇬🇭
