The third fight night of the Ghana Professional Boxing League returned with a new major sponsor, DeLuxy Paints. The action packed 6 card fight night was blended with music from Adane Best and Adote Tetor thrilling juvenile and youth fixtures.

 

Bukom Banku was also in the ring to entertain the audience with some comedy as he tested out his ring announcer skills.

 

The atmosphere at the venue was inspiring as large crowds fill the stands.

 

These are the results of the main bouts;

 

Enoch Tetteh won first bout of the night in 2.06 minutes of round two after he off loaded several punches into Hope Mawuli, he improves his record to 6 wins no defeat no draw.

 

Bout number 2 was declared no contest after Attoh Quarshie’s Micheal Offei Dodoo’s corner protested the declaration of Eric Quarm of Fist Square winner.

 

Prince Amarquaye won a unanimous decision after 6 rounds featherweight encounter with Eric Tetteh of Palm Spring. Judges scored the bout 60:53, 59: 53 and 60:52 in favour of Black Panthers Prince Amarquaye.

 

 

Bout no 4 was a lightweight contest between Charles Tetteh and Solomon Nettey in a 6 round entertaining bout. Charles Tetteh won on points.

 

 

Best Boxer of the night John Quaye, from the Sea View Boxing Qym won over Emmauel Noi Mensah from seconds out.

 

Special appearance were made by Joesph Agbeko and George Ashie as they shared their experience on how similar boxing league helped them develop their careers.

 

The forth nightly feature was attended by various stakeholders and big wings including President of the Ghana Boxing Authority, Dons Promotions owner, iMax media Boss, etc.

 

Boxing in Ghana has been frequent since the introduction of the league as the Globe is watching.
