Boxing has been a sport liked by many but keenly followed by a few over a couple of years, but the scintillating images captured by some of our professional photographers tells more than just a story but with emotions.
Many media persons choose other sports reporting over boxing as have been the case for years uncounted but Boxing Ghana chanced on a professional photographer who although likes all sports, places boxing on the helm of affairs.
Nii Otoe Bruce-Tagoe, founder of 29 Photo Studio is a professional photographer with lots of experience with his camera and has been in the photography business for over 5years and counting.
With his boxing images been liked by highly ranked boxing personalities, it is evident Mr. Bruce-Tagoe is doing it right to amass the accolades attached to his name.
During an interaction between Boxing Ghana and Mr. Bruce-Tagoe, the latter stated that his love for the game increased as he went home to look at the images he took and tried to understand the impacts captured in those moments.
‘DeMessenger’ as hes popularly called further stated, “there are other avenues that every other photographer would love to venture into but my greatest motivation is to promote the sport and or add my contribution to escalating the beautiful game to the world. As far as Ghana boxing is concerned, I am willing to go all out in taking the cleanest shots in the ring to make lovers of the game see the real and not blurred images.”
With a promised full documentary with Boxing Ghana, Nii Otoe Bruce-Tagoe has pledged his readiness to work with Boxing Ghana and all other boxing associations in Ghana as his main aim is to help push the sport to the world and beyond through photography.
