After the announcement of the bout between Alfred Lamptey of Ghana and Iddi Kayumba of Tanzania, the Ghanaian boxer has thrilled fans of his exploits and promised to deliver not just a world title but also a knockout to end proceedings without having to resort to the scorecards.
In their preparations to the final fight night, both boxers had to submit themselves to be weighed as it’s required by the boxing authority.
Alfred Lamptey tilted the scale at 127.6lbs as Iddi Kayumba of Tanzania edged over the Ghanaian opponent at 130lbs. The WBO/WBC youth silver super Featherweight titles are on the line tonight at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra and both boxers look poised and ready to battle.
Alfred Lamptey during the weighin stated, “I am in my best condition both physically and mentally to put any boxer in my weight category on their toes. I promised Ghanaians a knockout and I will keep my promise so they should keep the support flowing in.
