Emmanuel Tagoe’s Saturday’s opponent, Fernando David Saucedo, has arrived in Ghana safely.
Saucedo and his team touched down at the Kotoka International Airport on Wednesday evening (10:45pm) with South African Airways.
Team Saucedo are currently lodging at the Alisa Hotel in Accra.
Tagoe will be making his first defense of his IBO lightweight belt against the experienced Argentine at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
Saucedo in speaking ahead of the fight said, “I’m ready for Emmanuel Tagoe, he is good boxer but i’m sure of a win.”
“I’m not here to joke, i’m here for a purpose and that is to take Tagoe’s title from him.”
When asked whether the Tagoe’s home town crowd will play a role in the upcoming fight, he said “No…when the bell is rang we will be left alone in the ring, it is not my first time fighting outside Argentina. I have what it takes to beat him.”
