Photos: Ramirez, Ahmed Make Weight For Saturday’s Fight

Mexico’s Gilberto Ramirez (36-0, 24 KOs) and Ghana’s Habib Ahmed (25-0-1, 17 KOs) made their weight ahead of this Saturday’s super middleweight championship at the Bank of America Center in Corpus Christi, USA.


The Ghanaian will be challenging Ramirez for the latter’s WBO World super middleweight belt.

Ahmed made the weight easily while Ramirez had to disrobe to make the 168-pound limit.


The Ghanaians stepped on the scale first and he weighed 166.75Ibs, Ramirez failed to make the weight when he weighed 168.25Ibs.

However, the champion had to cover himself with the Mexican flag as he stripped nude to shed a quarter pound to weigh. He finally weighed 168Ibs.

The weigh-in took place at the Bank of America Center in Corpus Christi.
