The Ghana Boxing Authority have presented gifts to Habib Ahmed ahead of his upcoming World title fight.
Ahmed will be challenging Gilberto Ramirez for the latter’s WBO World super middleweight strap in USA on February 3rd.
And the GBA in motivating the James Town native presented assorted drinks to him – the presentation came off on Wednesday afternoon at the Gym where Ahmed is currently training.
The GBA delegation led by the association’s president Peter Zwennes in his advise to Ahmed said:
“We are here to support you, we know the task ahead of you, but we believe you have the qualities to make Ghanaians proud.
“Ramirez is the champion and it is not easy to unseat a champion, you have to give your all on February 3rd, and believe me with the right determination you will make it. Ghana is behind you ], the GBA is behind so go there and make us proud.”
Ahmed is his respond promised Ghanaians that he is going to USA without a title but he will return with the WBO world title.
