Cesar Juarez (20-5, 15 KOs) has arrived in Ghana ahead of the January 6th clash against Isaac Dogboe (17-0, 11 KOs) and he has promised to stop the latter.

Juarez and  his trainers Manuel Lopez, Margarito Juarez (his father), and his advisor Sean Gibbons landed at the Kotoka International on Friday night with KLM. They are currently lodging at the Alisa Hotel.

When Juarez held court with the Ghanaian media at the airport, the Mexican revealed his target for the upcoming fight.

“I’m very happy coming to Ghana, i have watched videos of Isaac Dogboe on Youtube and i’m ready to face him,” he said.

“Dogboe is strong, fast and but despite that i’m ever ready for him. I will surely win the fight.”

When asked whether he will be going for a knockout, he said, “I will be going for a knockout but i can’t predict the round i will stop him. Dogboe will be fighting with a real Mexican fighter so he should be ready for me. I have fought monsters like Nonito Donaire so i’m not scared of Dogboe.”

Regarding the weather condition, the former world title contender said, “I’m comfortable with the weather it is okay and fine.”

At stake for the upcoming clash is the interim WBO World super bantamweight belt.
