Patrick Okine’s (19-3-1, 16 KOs) manager Dauda Fuseini is optimistic of his charge chances against WBO Africa super featherweight champion Jeremiah Nakathila (14-1, 10 KOs).
Nakathila will make his second defense of his WBO strap against the hard-hitting Ghanaian on March 20th at the Ramatex Complex in Windhoek, Nambia. The fight forms part of the Independence Celebration of Namibia
And according to Fuseini the upcoming clash will be tough but he is confidence Okine will topple the champion.
“The fight will be a very tough fight by all standard because being the champion for the WBO and also ranked as high as number 6 in the WBO World ranking, Jeremiah will not allow to be stripped off his title at his backyard by Patrick Okine, but we are going to Namibia to upset Jeremiah and take his title from him,” Fuseini said.
He continued, “We have trained and prepare adequately and we will not allow home advantage to have any effect on us. The title is do dearto our and will make evrything possible to ensure we grab it.
“It’s not going to be an easy task though but we assure Ghanaians that with their prayer and support, we will bring the title home especially with the support of the Ghana Boxing Supporters Union (GHABSU) in Namibia, the sky will be our limit and trust me we will make the difference. I sincerely wants to thank Ghana Boxing Supporters Union for their effort to follow us all the way to Namibia to support the boxer.”
