With 121 rounds of boxing so far with an impressive knockout percentage ratio of 60% in 20 bouts, Ghana’s current super featherweight champion Patrick Ayi has jabbed the current national lightweight champion Michael ‘One Bullet’ Ansah.
“You cannot rush me to sign a contract to fight you. I work with a competent management team. You are no match for me, I am only waiting for the instructions from my management and if that is granted I will take the fight. I have fought and defeated boxers who defeated you.” Patrick Ayi expressed.
Patrick Ayi, whose last fight was against Michael Osei Bonus was not in a friendly mood as he charged on his would be opponent- the self styled “One Bullet” in a video message:
“Because of you( Michael Ansah) I have trained therefore you are a dead man walking. You are rubbish, come and have a look. This is what you are.” He voiced.
Earlier, the Chief Executive Officer of Box Office Sports Promotions Mr Alex Ntiamoah Boakye reiterated his outfits firm desire to promote the bout and further revealed that Michael Ansah had signed the deal to fight Ayi already.
“One Bullet Ansah on March 26, 2019, joyfully signed the fight contract to fight Patrick Ayi aka Alligator for the Commonwealth Final Eliminator/ National Super Featherweight Super Championship (D.K. Poison Honorary Championship Belt) on June 28, 2019, slated for Bukom Boxing Arena. We will make it happen by the Grace of Almighty God. The fans shall surely see this fight as Box Office Sports will make it happen.”
With the two fighters commanding a lot of local following, this fight, when agreed, must surely be a must watch because the local bragging rights is at stake.
