Patrick Allotey’s opponent for Saturday’s blockbuster Badru Lusambya has arrived in Ghana.
Lusambya landed in Ghana on Thursday afternoon from his native country Uganda.
The Ghanaian will be making his first defense of his WBO Africa super welterweight strap. The fight will come off at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
Allotey first claimed the belt last April after destroying compatriot Frank Dozdie in round seven.
Following his triumph, the Chorkor-born boxer is now ranked number 15 in the world by the WBO.
Allotey-Lusambya weigh-in will come off on Friday morning (10:00am) at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
