OSUMANU ADAMA IS BACK: SCORES RND 3 TKO VICTORY OVER LAWRENCE BLAKEY

“I like boxing I have been training every day and I feel so strong every day”- Osumanu Adama reiterated when quizzed by Samuel Ofosuhene just before his victory over 30 year old Lawrence Blakey from Pennsylvania, USA yesterday at the Horseshoe Casino, Hammond, Indiana.

The Ghanaian secured a round 3 TKO victory over his American nemesis in a blockbuster fashion improving his career record to 27 victories, 19 by way of KOs, 4 defeats with the last one coming against Gennady Golovkin five years ago (2014) when he attempted the latter’s World Boxing Association, International Boxing Organization World Middleweight Titles.

The then WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin beat Osumanu Adama by TKO in the seventh round, with his impressive speed and accuracy in his 10th defense victory.

‘Ozzie Adams Machine Gun’ has since moved on with a comprehensive and vintage comeback wins in 5 consecutive occasions including that of yesterday.

The 38 year old Joliet, Illinois, USA resident who is a former International Boxing Organization Inter-Continental Middleweight Titlist, vacant USBA Middleweight Titlist, International Boxing Organization International Middleweight Titlist, African Boxing Union Middleweight Titlist as well as one time Ghanaian Super Welterweight Champion, still harbours the ambitions of winning his last belt before calling it quits in his boxing career.
