Okolla Morris On A Mission In Ghana To Shock WBO Africa Champion Harrison

Kenyan heavyweight boxer, Okolla Morris says he is in Ghana for a mission and that is to take away the WBO Africa heavyweight title belt from champion, Richard Harrison of Ghana.

Speaking to the media at the Bosphorus Restaurant at Labone in Accra, the tall well built contender said he knows Ghana has very good boxers, but he is also in his own class and will teach the champion some lessons before taking him out, and predicted a knock out.

Okolla who has a record of 12 wins against 2 loses in 14 fights could not tell the round when he will end the fight but hopes to win.

“It does not matter where I fight, I am here for the title, and I will shock Harrison, we prepared since August and the fight was postponed, and we are still ready, even now” he said.

His coach Vincent Kato, a veteran trainer of many East African boxers said the know Harrison as an up coming boxer, but never knew how he became champion, so they will put him at his right position.

Meanwhile, Richard Nii Lartey Harrison who is in top shape has also promised a knock out victory and urged his fans to come to the Bukom Boxing Arena on time.

Ellis Quaye, a director of Cabic Promotions who are putting up the bill with two African and national titles at stake promised to give boxing fans a Christmas eve to remember spiced with good music and entertainment.

He said Papa Row, Efe Kyzz and others will thrill the crowd.

Rates for the fight are fixed at 20ghc, 30ghc and 50ghc.

The weigh in takes place on Sunday morning at the Bosphorus Restaurant at Labone.
