Obodai Sai of Ghana by far produced the most competitive and interesting fight on the night together with that of Felix Ajom and Michael Ansah, when he defeated South Africa’s France Ramabolu by points.

It was a unanimous decision in favour of the Ghanaian who got the South African at bay with his jabs.

The International Boxing Federation Continental Africa Super Welterweight champion Ramabolu struggled throughout, finding no answers to Obodai’s swift jabs and occasional left hooks and overheads.

The Ghanaian was on the winning cards from round one through to the seventh round when he let his guard down but that was even nullified with some heavy uppercuts.

Truth be told, France Ramabolu was always struggling to deal with Obodai’s hard hitting heavy punches which could be heard loudly by the ringside. It came as a shock when Ramabulo protested in his post fight speech.

“You know what, I feel I did enough to win the fight, He (Obodai) said yesterday that I came to see the beautiful venue he think it is, come to my country and see how beautiful it is and give me a rematch, I will knock him out. ”

I did everything in my power to win this fight. It is fine, they are killing boxing, it’s fine let them kill it. Africa arise Africa.”Virtually, everybody was bemused.

But Obodai decided to grant him a rematch anytime.

“If he wants a rematch, we will give any day at his discretion. I want to thank everyone most especially the fans, I disappointed the last time hence my decision to compensate them. There is more to come from me.” Obodai concluded.

On the night, Michael ‘One Bullet’ Ansah settled the bragging rights when he defeated old nemesis Felix ‘Alvaro’ Ajom via a UD. The “Clash of Titans” was a huge success.
