Nathan Decastro is relishing his big matchup with Ghana’s “Hitman” Daniel Adjei Sowah Annang at Glasgow Club in Bellahouston, Scotland scheduled April 27 in a WBU championship contest.
“I have a better KO ration of 11 in 14 against his 13 in 28 and more importantly I believe I am more hungry for this than him.” Decastro bullishly comparing his 71 percentage ratio to that of Sowah’s 46 percent.
At stake, would be the World Boxing Union (WBU) Super Middleweight Championship, a title he believes he is destined to carry based on tradition.
“I am fighting for the WBU Title, we have history with this Championship at the Bracebridge Boxing Club, as Kelly Oliver whose father owns the club also fought for the WBU crown, at Cruiserweight, so I have to win it and bring the belt back to the gym I’ve trained at all my career.” Decastro stated.
The Ghanaian is equally hopeful of his chances as he hopes to relaunch his career with a victory.
“The ring will decide on Saturday.” Sowah stated.
But the British born boxer nicknamed ‘The Nightmare’ is optimistic of a victory.
“It’s been my dream since I started boxing as a youngster to win a World title and now I’m just over a weeks away from making my dreams come true.” Nathan Decastro Concluded.
The fight which was initially billed Saturday the 8th of December in Glasgow – Scotland but failed to materialise for reasons beyond organisational control, is once again back on the 27th of April.
