Ghana’s iconic boxing personality Azumah Nelson has officially announced to the media and boxing fans that his son Dalvin Dalvin Azumah has completely quit the sport of boxing for good.
This comes after persistent questions on his son and his boxing future by stakeholders but most especially his fans. As expected the self styled ‘professor’ took the opportunity during and interview to bring the matter to it’s conclusion.
“Dalvin is not interested in boxing, he just finished his national service and it appears he is looking forward to further his education and do something not related to boxing.
“You know, he doesn’t see the need to box, he has no motivation, he does not hustle for anything, unlike me who came from a poor background and wanted to come out of poverty at all cost.
“For me, I will support whatever he does, and I’m fully behind all his decisions. In case he changes his mind too I will be glad to train him.” The legend expressed
The hall of famer is undoubtedly eulogised as Ghana’s legendary boxer who for a long time hoisting Ghana’s flag high at a time when the country was in trying a moment and as expected people are still interested in his business hence the persistent calls on his son’s boxing career.
