Isaac the Royal Storm Dogboe is optimistic of a comeback but not at the same weight division as he eyes a comfortable weight in the featherweight division.

Speaking after his post fight interview, the former World Boxing Organisation champion said,

“My next fight, I’ll be moving up to the featherweight division, I’ll be much more comfortable at that weight.” Expressed Isaac Dogboe.

The Ghanaian warrior is still very upbeat even after succumbing to Emanuel Navarrete for the second time in the early hours of Sunday at the Convention Center, Tucson, Arizona, in the USA.

In his earlier tweet, Dogboe took the opportunity to thank all and sundry.

“Thanks to God for the gift of life, and thanks all to my supporters and loved once , I appreciate you all, Unfortunately,  I came up  short last night but am in good health no serious injuries. Will keep you updated on what the future holds for team Dogboe. Yours sincerely.” Dogboe posted on his handle.

But his father and trainer, Paul Dogboe, a former military personnel holds a different view.
“I will not impose my will on him. However, I think he has had enough. I want him to return to school and continue his course and take another path in life. We worked hard but were unsuccessful at overcoming Navarette.” He stated at the spell of an emotionally charged moment.

Sources close to the Ghanaian boxing star says a decision on his career is yet to be decided but there is a major possibility of his return to the square ring later in the year 2019.
