Mohammed Ayeetey’s United Arab Emirates (UAE) fight cancelled

The 2021 SWAG professional boxer of the year nominee, Mohammed Ayeetey was scheduled to fight in the UAE. However his fight was cancelled following the demise of the leader of the region.

 

 

In a post match interview, Mohammed shares his excitement for international exposure as well as fighting in the Coca-Cola Arena.

 

The boxer with a fight record of 7 wins with no defeat trains at the Seaview Boxing Club under the guidance of Coach Alfred, aka Coach Zicco.

 

The boxer revealed that his main goal is a world title and looks forward to opportunities leading to that path after his fight in Dubai.

 

Prior to his match cancellation, Mohammed Ayeetey switched his preparation style by guest training at a number of local boxing clubs including the Bukom Boxing Arena, Seaview Boxing Club ( his home club) and Wisdom Boxing Gym.

 

Coach Zicco revealed that he has been sparring a number of tough boxers and he is confident his boxer will make Ghana proud.

The fight that was slated for 21st May has been postponed, but Mohammed is confident given the opportunity to make Ghana proud.
