International Boxing Federation Welterweight Champion Errol Spence Jr. (24-0, 21 KOS) will defend his title against Four-Division World Champion and current WBC Lightweight Champion Mikey Garcia (39-0, 30 KOS) at the AT&T stadium on March 16 in the biggest ‘dare to be great’ fight for Garcia.

The American poster boy Errol Spence is very confidant of outwitting his foe on the night.

“I mean I really feel that with every fighter, you know, I just don’t say nothing…I’ve been a little bit more out there but I feel that with every fight. A lot of times I just say ‘It’s gonna be a good, one-sided fight.’ That’s my answer to everything. I just feel that way [that I’ll destroy him]. In my head I’m training like it’s a 50/50 fight. You know, that’s how I’m going into training camp, how I’m taking this fight, but I definitely wanna put on a great performance and it’s added motivation to beat him.” Errol Spence said in an interview.

When quizzed why Garcia took the fight to fight him,  Errol Spence stated.

“I really don’t care…I take it all with a grain of salt. I don’t care if he does sit-ups, pushups, dips, anything. You know, when it comes fight time, if he gets hit flush to the body I see myself hurting him. I see myself hurting
anybody so…” Errol Spence said.

Truth But the American Mickey Garcia has long been a cerebral fighter who relies on pinpoint accuracy.

“That’s why I want to fight Errol Spence,” Garcia said. I’m always the favorite heading into fights. My accomplishments don’t get credit because I’m supposed to win. To be great, I need to be in a fight that I’m not supposed to win.” Gracia stated his reasons.

Make no mistake, who ever thinks Garcia is oblivious of the task ahead…

“Spence is the fight that can put me over the top. Garcia said. “A guy who started as a featherweight who is now
a lightweight challenging a welterweight? That’s almost
unheard of.” Garcia chronicled.

Mickey Garcia is a man on a mission as he elaborated his plans

“I won’t stay at welterweight. I’ll move down to lightweight or super lightweight unless there’s another attractive fight that makes sense.” The main reason I’m pursuing these fights is for the opportunity to become the greatest of all time. That’s all I want.” Expressed Garcia.

We have to dare to be ourselves, however frightening or strange that self may prove to be. Life’s mission is to express ourselves boldly and that is what both Garcia and Spence are doing…..What ever the outcome, let the gods pugilism determine the outcome.

Certainly this fight has all the markings of becoming one of the greatest fights of all time come Saturday 16 day of March.
