According to Ghana’s National Lightweight champion, Michael Ansah aka One Bullet, he has had the best of training camp so far with arguably the best coach in Ghana, Charles Quartey to secure a resounding victory over Manchester born former world lightweight champion Terry Flanagan this Friday 11, October 2019, Ulster Hall, Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom.

“I have the best coach in Ghana at the moment in Charles Quartey, I am going to follow the footsteps of my boss (Briamah Kamoko alias Bukom Banku) who went to conquer the UK with a win just recently.” The fighter, boxer Ansah said.

“I have been training very well and am going there early to acclimatize with the weather. I eat well and sleep early….I think I have had the best training camp so far.” He expressed.

The Ghanaian is fighting a tough customer in former WBO world lightweight champion, Terry Flanagan (33-2, 13 KOs). Michael Ansah is one of those marquee boxers whom you will underrate upon seeing his stats, 17 victories, 9 defeat with 2 draws with 11 of those victories coming by way of KOs. But like it is said the devil is in the details.

Ansah, has fought some of the very best boxers in the game even when he had no manager and was not training, almost all of his 9 defeats were as a result of that. But now the narrative have changed and the Jamestown native is very determined and confident of securing a victory as he fights Flanagan, who recently signed with MTK Global.

“I will beat him, he is a former world champion, but I am going to make him eat punches. I know the victory is mine already.” Ansah stated.

Flanagan’s career is on the decendancy ever since he lost to Maurice Hooker, although he was the favourite going in, not even his warm-up victory over Tanzanian Jonas Segu (19-9-2, 6 KOs) was enough to vanish that image.

The self styled ‘Turbo’ Terry Flanagan is in for a completely different bout against the resurgent Michael Ansah and boxing Ghana predicts a slight advantage for the latter.
