Azumah Nelson Boxing Promotions presents Azumah Nelson Fight Night, dubbed “The Year of Return” and is billed to go down on 27th December, 2019, at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

Headlining the mouth-watering show is Michael Ansah versus the man nicknamed ‘Daddy Lumba,’ Ben Lamptey.

The self styled ‘One Bullet’ who recently lost a controversial disqualification in the United Kingdom, to Terry Flanagan, is set to make a comeback and banish that nightmarish experience come fight night.

Speaking at the launch and press conference held at the De-lish Restaurant inside Opkonglo – East Legon, Ansah was in a confident mood.

“I want my fans to come early, because I am going to make a quick work of Ben Lamptey. He was beating me during our amateur days and I intend to set the records straight with a convincing win in this bout.” Ansah expressed.

His challenger, Ben Lamptey, was very confident as well, predicting a straight win against his old nemesis.

“Ansah knows what I can do, and I am going to repeat that. Everyone must come early to watch the bout.” Lamptey stated.

On the night, Felix Ajom will face Michael Poppoe for a chance to win the National and West African Boxing Union (WABA) Super Featherweight belt.

In the Super Middleweight contest over 8 rounds, Ishmael Tetteh faces Delali Miledzi from Power Gym. Musa Lawson, representing Discipline Gym, and Naimou Samson Aziz, from the Republic of Benin, will compete in an international Super Welterweight contest.

Sensational Faisal Abubaka, better known as ‘Poncho Power’ must beat Sossa Cudjo Hypolite to improve his pro records. Whiles the ever delightful Jesse Manyo Plange, square off against Isaac Tetteh in what is set to be an entertaining battle between two pugilist who know each other inside out.
