Michael Amoo-Bediako promises to produce another world champion after Richard Commey.
At the launch of the second edition of the Fist of Fury boxing league at the M J Grand Hotel East Legon Accra, former IBF lightweight champion, Richard Commey, and his manager Michael Amu-Bediako graced the occasion and presented boxing equipments to the Ghana Boxing Feration (GBF) and the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) on behalf of Streetwise Foundation.
Streetwise Foundation is a non profit organisation based in the United Kingdom with Richard Commey as their Ambassador.
After Commey 32, (29-3, 26 KOs) lost his IBF title to the Honduran American last December, the Ghanaian boxer and his manager quickly moved from their base in America to Ghana to reorganize, give back to society and also to support the sport in Ghana. So Mr. Amoo-Bediako has engaged some selected boxing gyms with Commey the Ambassador for the foundation to donate boxing equipments to them. He climaxed the donations with a big one at the launch of the Fist of Fury II in his bid to help unearth the latent boxing talents in scores of youngsters he sees on the streets of Bukom and James Town.
