Manyo Plange: set to fight IBO World Bantamweight Title holder Michael Dasmarinas

Undefeated Ghana boxer Jesse Manyo Plange is set to launch a comeback into the ring after sometime in hybernation against Philipino Michael Dasmarinas in Singapore on 29th of September 2018.

Dasmarinas is currently a holder of the International Boxing Organization World Bantamweight Title which he won in April of this year against Karim Guerfi (26-3) via a fourth round TKO.

When BoxingGhana.com contacted the Ghaianain on the scheduled fight, he confirmed in the affirmative

“I will be fighting on 29th September in Singapore with Michael Dasmarinas” Plange explained.

The Ghanaian is very optimistic going into the bout and is very confident of nothing short of a victory.

Michael Dasmarinas is a southpaw who has fought boxers like Worawatchai Boonjan, Mateo Handig, Michael Escobia, Jecker Buhawe, Edison Berwela and so on.

Nicknamed “Hot and Spicy,” Michael Alber Dasmariñas has won 28 fights with 2 losses and 19 coming by way of KOs.

His first defeat was on 13 December 2014 against Lwandile Sityatha (19 3 1) from South Africa. At stake was the International Boxing Organization World Super Flyweight Title.

Plange is such a resilient fighter who has 17 wins to his credit no losses nor draws with an astonishing 15 KOs which translates to 88%.

His last three fights were against Hope Mawuli, Saidu Amadu and Billy Quaye.

Preparations are on-going and Manyo’s current trainer is  Mr. Larteykwei Lartey, an astute boxing trainer.
