Silver winning medalist in the 2007 All African Games hosted in Algiers the capital of Algieria, Jesse Manyo Plange has exclusively told BOXINGGHANA.COM of his preparedness to unseat the current IBO champion, Philipino Michael Dasmarinas.
“This is an opportunity to fight a good boxer who has an incredible fight record, 28 fights 19 by way of Knockouts and just two losses.” Manyo Plange told boxinggana.com’s Samuel Ofosuhene.
The undefeated Ghanaian is hoping to leverage on a victory against Michael Dasmarinas as a springboard to relaunch his career and also to attract other champions.
“I know the stakes are high, I know what is at stake if I win the fight. Winning is going to make me attract other champions. So winning the fight against a whole champion is of great importance to me.” Plange reiterated.
In April of this year 2018, Michael Dasmarinas won the International Boxing Organization World Bantamweight Title against Karim Guerfi (26-3) via a fourth round TKO. The bout happens to be his very maiden defence of the strap.
Jesse Manyo Plange is currently training at the Fit Square Boxing Gym located inside Kokomlemle, a suburb in Accra-Ghana and is ready to make the travel on the 20th of next month September 2018 to Indonesia.

“I want Ghaianains to pray for me and to support me. I know with God all things are possible.” Plange requested of Ghanaians in his quest to dethrone current IBO Champ Michael Alber Dasmariñas.
Plange is equally promising the people of his motherland that come 29th of next month, he is sure to bring the IBO strap to Ghana.
