LAWSON VS NASIYIWULA, A STEP CLOSER TO THE ULTIMATE.

Frederick “General Okunka” Lawson goes into the Inaugural WBC and Evander Holyfield’s REAL DEAL tournament with high optimism.

General Okunka, who currently holds the WBC International Silver Welterweight title faces Nasiyiwula with an imposing record of 126 rounds of boxing, 26 bouts, 21 by way of KO, 1 loss no draw. Comes in with a disadvantaged height of 5.11″ and reach of 70″.

Lawson has very good defence, heavy left right jabs and power straight right.

Baishanbo “Destroyer” Nasiyiwula mounts the ring with 93 rounds of boxing, 15 bouts, 13 wins, 6 by way of KO, 1 loss, 1 draw. Has height advantage of 5.12″ and reach of 70″.

The destroyer as they call him has good foot work, good overheads, quick on the counter and uses the left jab more. He has poor defence and lacks aggression.

Lawson’s plan going into the fight is to take the game to Nayisiwula, use the left right jabs, quick straight right and occasionally trap him to pound for pound exchange. No lazy punches and must be quick on the counter. Lawson must not wait for Nasiyiwula but rather work him out.

Even though the fight will not come easy, I expect the fight to end in a KO in favor of Lawson.

Again I tip Frederick Lawson to win the fight.
