The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium won’t only witness a Heavyweight unification bout between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk, but will also feature on the card a battle for the WBO World Cruiserweight title between two undefeated giants where Lawrence ‘The Sauce’ Okolie (16-0, 13KOs)  will be making his first defence of the title against Dilan Prasovic (15-0, 12KOs).

After winning the WBO Youth Cruiser title in 2018 against Mate Kristof, Dilan Prasovic has had 7 more fights within 3 years maintaining a cleansheet to earn a world title shot for the first time in his career. His last fight was against Tomislav Rudan in a 6 round heavyweight contest just three months ago where he stopped Rudan in the forth round.

This world title shot will actually be a very tough one for Prasovic as he faces the WBO champion who has defeated five undefeated opponents throughout his career with four of them getting knocked out.

The champion on the night, Lawrence Okolie 28, who has an impressive KO ratio of 81% must not underestimate his opponent who also has an equally good KO ratio of 80%. After making known his desire to “unify against top quality” opponents, he’ll be so much upset to not retain the single title (WBO) he’s currently holding.

Early this year, ‘The Sauce’ made his plans known on what he wants to achieve as a boxer

“So I’d like to be regarded as the No 1 at cruiserweight at the time and then go up, win the bridgerweight world title – that must still count – and then eventually go up to heavyweight and win the heavyweight world title. That way, I’m a three-weight world champion at that point.”

Lawrence Okolie with such plans doesn’t look like ending it here but must nevertheless focus on his undefeated opponent come fight night to keeps his mission alive.
