Mr. Anthony Kermah the C.E.O of Landmark Promotions was at the studios of Accra based HSTV on Saturday ahead of the hugely anticipated promotional bout christened on March 6.
In an interview with the host who doubles as the Chief Editor for boxingGhana.Com Mr. Samuel Ofosuhene, Anthony Kermah expressed
“We want as many people as possible to make it to the Bukom Boxing Arena to come watch the fight hence the reason we are selling tickets for just 20 cedis. Patrice Sou Toke is going to be a tough opponent on the night for Samir Bastie. They (Team Patrice Sou Toke) are already busing supporters to the capital just for the fight and that should tell you how they mean business.”
“Patrice Sou Toke (23-6-1,11 KOs) is no stranger at all in Ghana and is prepared to beat Samir Bastie (16-0,14 KOs). The last time he fought in Accra was against Patrick Allotey which he lost on points and is therefore determined to write the wrong against Issah Samir.” Anthony Kermah told the host.
Patrice Sou Toke was bullishly optimistic when quizzed on his chances against Samir as he entreated boxing lovers to come watch him discipline one of Ghana’s finest fighters.
“I am going to win this fight, I do not know Samir Bastie but I am going to teach him boxing lessons.” The Burkinabe stated via an interpreter.
The ambassador of Burkina Faso is set to grace the occasion on fight night and a contingent of two buses are already in the country to rally support for their native as the winner gets rated in the IBF rankings.
Also fighting on the night is Ghana’s John Laryea, the young promising super bantamweight boxer is back in the square ring tomorrow March 6 under Landmark Promotions bill scheduled on independence day.
