L & B Management Promise To Make Gorsh Happy

Coach Carl Lokko has commended every individual and companies who have supported him in the setting up of the Bronx Gym at James Town and promised to support all the boxers to excel, including newly signed on young boxer Daniel S. Gorsh aka ‘The Emperor’.

He said they are not going to rush any boxer, but be patient and focused as the right time will come for them to become champions.

He expressed that Ghana’s newly signed on professional bantamweight boxer, Daniel Selassie Gorsh aka ‘The Emperor’ is capable of becoming a world champion, but he has to go through the mill and gain some exposure and experience at the professional level.

Coach Carl Lokko said he and the L & B Management have promised to make him happy to love what he does, sp that he performs well to attract more fans and financiers.

Elated Gorsh who was at a moment very emotional at the signing event noted that it is good not listen to people with negative thoughts, and he is now glad to land a lucrative 3 year contract with the Ghana and USA based L & B Management Syndicate.

He told Yours Truly he decided to turn professional after he was not selected in the final squad for the 2020 Olympic Games Qualifier in Senegal.

Present at the ceremony was boxing guru and consultant, Mr. Yoofi Boham who has played roles in the success stories of many Ghanaian boxers, USA based Daniel Annan, Alhaji Theophilus Tagoe of Royal Dede Resort, Charles Lartey and Peter Nash Quarcoo Executive Director of L & B Management.

Mr. Nash Quarcoo revealed that they have been monitoring Gorsh for the past ten years, and feel time is due for him to turn professional.

“I am hopeful and sure that we can propel him to be in the world championship ranks in the next two years” he said.

Mr. Yoofi Boham described Gorsh as a rising promising star who must be buttressed to win a world title for Ghana. He advised him to work hard to overcome all the obstacles in boxing to be on top always, and also obey his trainers.

Members of the Ghana Boxing Supporters Union (GBSU) were there to offer entertainment and moral support.
