Joy Industries CEO Urge Corporate Ghana To Support Sports

Dr. Manfred Takyi, CEO of Joy Industries has appealed to companies in Ghana to support sports activities in the country because that is the only way to unearth, groom and boast talents who can become international stars.

Speaking at the Multichoice new plush office on Tuesday, during a press conference organized by Baby Jet Promotions ahead of the bill DEFEND to GLORY for the International Boxing Organisation (IBO) Lightweight title, involving Emmanuel Tagoe aka Game Boy and Fernando Saucedo of Argentina, he expressed joy to be associated with boxing and urged other companies to support sports.

According to Dr. Takyi, sports is a great avenue and interesting industry to be associated with, as it also goes with entertainment and the products from Joy Industries are for joy and happiness.

The popular JOY Twedee Bitters with ginger flavor is the brand from Joy Industries that is supporting the international bout fixed for January 27, 2018 at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

Joy Industries has been involved in some previous sporting activities, and they wish to expand to reach other disciplines, like athletics, kickboxing and weight lifting.

The company was hailed when they sponsored the big boxing show between Bukom Banku and Ayitey Powers at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

They were also at the last Sports Writers Association of Ghana Awards Night and made patrons really happy with their range of products.

News reaching us state that the January 27 date would be graced with songs and dances from MzVee, Kwame Eugene, Luther, Episode, Kidi and others. Meanwhile, Emmanuel ‘Game Boy’ Tagoe will come out of his secret camp to hold his final media workout this Friday at the Will Power Boxing Gym at James Town at exactly 3pm.
