Joseph Awinongya Jr. set for the 48th Junior Olympics in Wisconsin, USA

Four time USA national champion Joseph Awinongya Jr. is set to compete in the 48th edition of the USA Boxing National Junior Olympics, Prep Nationals and Youth Open held annually by the US boxing Inc which starts tomorrow June 23 to June 29, 2019 at Madison Marriott West Hotel and Conference Center, Middleton, Wisconsin.

The 48th annual Junior Olympics is one of USA Boxing’s most prestigious national tournaments which assembles the best talents from the states to compete for the ultimate.

‘Jojo’ is currently the number one rated boxer in the United States 90lbs division and number two in the 95lbs tipped by many to win this year’s edition.

The Ghanaian-American is closely being monitored by the Ghana Boxing Federation, led by George Lamptey, on a possibility of Joseph representing Ghana as this presents the perfect opportunity to once again watch the young boxer display his talent to the world.

Currently there is a star packaged documentary on Joseph Awinongya Jr. in which the Ghana version is done, with the team set to cover the United States version on the life and routine of the young promising boxing pay per view star in the making.

Most industry players and Ghanaian boxing fans are pretty expectant in this year’s Junior Olympics.

The tournament is expected to feature USA Boxing’s Youth and Junior National Teams when it kicks off on 25th of July with the super talented Ghanaian expected to draw a bye, such is the class of fighter in Joseph Awinongya Jr.

But this year is billed for Joseph Awinongya Jr., the Bolgatanga native, the hottest prospect at the moment in both the 90 and 95lbs division.
