Former two-time IBF World bantamweight champion, Joseph Agbeko (33-5, 22 KOs), is set to make a return to the ring on March 3rd, boxingghana.com understand.
According to information gathered by Boxingghana.com, Agbeko will battle undefeated Uganda’s Frank Kiwalabye (15-0, 12 KOs).
At stake for the Agbeko-Kiwalabye is the vacant WBO Africa bantamweight belt. Our sources revealed that the fight will be held in Aflao at the Mission Ga School Park.
Agbeko since loosing to Guillermo Rigondueux in 2013 has recorded four straight wins.
Kiwalabye has also won his last four fights but Agbeko’s clash will be his first pro fight outside Uganda.
Agbeko became Ghana’s sixth World champion when he stopped Luis Alberto Perez in 2009 to win the IBF World bantamweight strap.
