John Zile promises fans fireworks at Aborigines fight night on 31st March

John Zile, a professional super bantamweight prospect has promised to give his best in his upcoming bout.

John Zile, a product of the Beach Boxing Club in Accra turned pro in 2021 after a good amateur career, participating in GABA (Greater Accra Boxing Association) events.

John Zile, who hails from Erimon in the Lawra Municipality grew up in Pramposo, a small town in the Bono Region of Ghana. John relocated to Accra to pursue his boxing dreams while going to school.

The 28 years old pugilist who doubles as a banker has a professional record of 6 wins; 5 by way of knockouts and still undefeated.

According to John ‘Monster’ Zile, pursuing two different careers is not easy. He often has to wake up early and train to maintain his fitness and also prepare to be at the office by 9:00am to start his duties at the Konsort Micro Credit.

John explained that he owes his success to his dedicated Coach, Richard Neequaye Ashie, aka Coach Butcher who trains him from 6am to 8pm each weekday. In addition to the evening training, he does his personal training at 3:00am daily.

He said, “I know it looks difficult. When there is a will, there is a way. We learn everyday and we keep learning fight after fight. We keep getting better and better going into each fight, but this fight is a fight you will love to watch. I’m going to do my thing the best way and a strong way”.

John Zile is a Risk and Credit Officer at Konsort Micro Credit who works from 9am to 5pm daily, as well as chasing a world title in his boxing career.
