Gilberto Ramirez won Saturday’s bout by majority decision. The judges had it 114-114, 115-113, but Jesse Hart refuses to accept the decision by the judges on the night.

“It was no contest tonight, man, I pressured him; I boxed him. I did everything in the world to win this fight. I’m not mad. You know, Gilberto is a good fighter, but I believe I pulled it out tonight. I mean, yeah, he had a good 12th round. OK. But I came back, and I hurt him in that same round. So, you know what I mean?” Jesse Hart protested.

World Boxing Organisation World Super Middleweight strap was at stake but the boxer who defeated Ghana’s Habib Ahmed and is still undefeated after 39 career fights does not share Jesse’s opinion.

“I won every round, I hurt my left elbow in the eighth round. I came away with the victory despite that injury. If didn’t hurt my elbow, I would’ve knocked him out.” The Mexican southpaw stated.

This is the second time Ramirez (39-0,25 KOs) is fighting Jesse Hart (25-2,21 KOs), their first encounter was last year which ended in a UD in favour of the champion Ramirez.

Asked if he intends to grant Jesse Hart a third rematch, Gilberto Ramirez Sanchez said

“I am going to 175. I am ready to challenge Gvozdyk.”

Oleksandr Gvozdyk (16-0,13 KOs) is a Ukrainian professional boxer who has held the World Boxing Council World Light Heavyweight Title and lineal title since March, 2018
