Jamestown Boxing Club celebrates it’s 1 year anniversary yesterday 

Jamestown Boxing Club, one of the newest Boxing clubs in Accra is a year old since it began operations. The club head Coach Ransford Amugi took to social media to announce and wish the team well.

Following the post, several individuals have sent their wishes.

Jamestown Boxing Club in the year under review has recorded several successes.

For instance, on the 18th of July, 2022, the club announced one of their prospects Gabriel Coffie has landed an international lightweight fight against Béninois contender Kelvin Ahoumenou Jerome.

The club on July 3rd congratulated Desmond ‘Kpakpo’ Pappoe after emerging champion in the Welterweight division during the 2022 GABA Novice Tournament.

The club has also recorded success in Nigeria. Anuebunwa Joseph won his debut after training with the Jamestown Boxing Club for months.

Young Samuel Plange was also celebrated for making it to the finals of the GABA Juvenile Championship in the 39kg weight category.

The club also shared It’s sad moments as Benjamin Ashie lost in the semi-final of the GABA Novice Tournament.
