24-year-old Ghanaian super bantamweight former world champion Isaac “the Royal Storm” Dogboe entertains Mexican Emanuel Navarrete for the second time in Arizona State Convention Center, USA for the opportunity to re-claim the belt he lost on December 8, 2018.
The Ghanaian will be making his first fight in the year 2019 against the Mexican who surprisingly managed to get one past his counterpart via a unanimous points decision.
The pay-per-view star is relishing a massive comeback against his old nemesis and is optimistic of setting the records straight “I am going to set the record straight on May 11.”
Isaac Dogboe (20-1, 14 KO) was outboxed by Emanuel Navarrete (26-1, 22 KO) in his last show when he got carried away over his back to back knockouts which predominantly symbolizes his industrious career.
“I am ready to show the world that our first fight was no accident, I am the better fighter, and I will show that again. Dogboe made a mistake in taking this rematch.” Navarrete stated ahead of their second encounter.
The World Boxing Organisation World Super Bantamweight Title is there for the claims with both pugilists poised to bring out their best on the night. Dogboe in his 21 bouts, commands 122 rounds of boxing with a KO ratio of 67%. A height of 5′ 2″ and a reach disadvantage of 157cm. He comes up against the self styled ‘Vasquero’ Emanuel Navarrete Martinez who has 27 bouts in 113 rounds of boxing with a 81% KOs ratio and a height 5′ 7″ and a reach advantage of 183cm.
But Saul Canelo Alvarez versus Rocky Fielding plus many other examples have taught us that those things are semantics.
Come Saturday the 11th of May, the world must be ready for a blockbuster of a fight at the State Convention Center in Arizona, USA
