Subsequently the experienced trainer confirmed the story and even tipped the Ghanaian hard puncher to follow the illustrious footsteps of the legendary Philipino Senator Manny Pacquiao

“Isaac [Dogboe] came all the way from the UK but now he’s here at the Wild Card (Boxing Club). [He’ll be the] next world champion, next Manny Pacquiao,” Roach said in a video.

But news recently surfaced that the Ghanaian pay per view star had split camp with celebrated trainer Freddie and his Wild Card Boxing Club in Hollywood, California.

Dogboe has now released a video explaining why he needed to seperate camp with Freddie Roach who he says he “loves”  in the video above.

24-year-old Dogboe was formally under the tutelage of his father Paul Dogboe when he won the world title but his career took a major hit following two successive losses to Mexico’s Emmanuel Navarette prompting his father to relinquish his role for a much more experienced and technically superior trainer in Freddie Roach but the relationship lasted only one month.
