“Pacquiao is a legend. He’s going to go down as one of the best in the business. I just feel it’s my time. I’m coming to take the throne from Pacquiao.” Stated Adrien Jerome Broner ahead of his bout with Philipino senator Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao better known as Manny Pacquaio on the 19th of January.

At stake is the World Boxing Association World Welterweight Belt.

“No disrespect but I don’t give a (expletive) about Mayweather and Pacquiao. I’m focused on Adrien Broner and Pacquiao and I’m focused on getting this victory.” The former multiple world champion in four weight classes stated.

Adrien Jerome Broner is bullishly confident of a victory against the former champion in four weight divisions namely flyweight, featherweight, lightweight, and welterweight and currently the holder of the World Boxing Association World Welterweight Title Manny Pacquaio.

The Phillipino Senator is making his first defense of the strap he secured against Argentine Lucas Martin Matthysse via a 7th round TKO in July of 2018.

Adrien Broner is now 29 years old against Manny Pacquaio’s 40 hence it remains to be seen if age is going to serve as a factor come Saturday the 19th of this month 2019, when the two fighters clash gloves at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
