Heading into the bout against John Abaja Laryea ” Expensive Boxer” on April 30 , Solomon Martey has made bare his intentions of ending the fight within the distance.

“I’ll have to knock him out very hastily because you know I have a serious party to attend on that same night. I’m not going to allow Laryea to delay my enjoyment”, said Martey ( 13-1-1), at the press conference at the Idrowhyt Events Center, Dansoman ahead their Championship bout for the WBO Africa Featherweight strap.

John Abaja Laryea took his turn on the microphone and countered his opponent’s bluff. He revealed that the day after the bout marks his birthday and he therefore had big plans to celebrate a massive win.

 

The event, put together by three major promotional outfits in Ghana: Box Office Promotions, Cabic Boxing Promotions and Bronx Boxing Promotions features other exciting bouts.

 

The main undercard would see “The Battle of Chorkor” between Emmanuel Quaye aka Chorkor Wilder battle Jacob Tetteh Laryea aka Chorkor Fire for the WABU Super Welterweight Title.

Michael Offei Darku slugs it out against Frank Mensah in a Middleweight brawl while Patrick Allotey defends his WBO Africa title against Jafaru Suleiman.
