See who Kubrat Pulev wants to fight as he promises to beat Anthony Joshua

The jigsaw puzzle for the unification of the heavyweight yet to be solved.

Today May, 2020. In a quest to determine the real king of the heavyweight division, Tyson Fury, the WBC heavyweight champion of the world, has granted Wilder another opportunity to redress the balance, after the “Bronz Bomber” blamed his heavy costume for the loss he suffered in their rematch last year.

Even though many believe the heavyweight king is between the Gypsy King and the Bronz Bomber due to the shocking defeat Anthony Joshua suffered in June last year, AJ is still the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO and IBO World heavyweight champion of the world, after making amends in his rematch fight with Andy Ruiz Jnr.

With the world of boxing eager to see a unification bout with Joshua facing Fury, the fight between Anthony Joshua and Kubrat Pulev must be first dealt with.

However, Pulev wants to be the one unifying the division with Fury.
“I’ll be happy to face him [Fury] after I beat Joshua,” said Pulev. He continued, “Fighting with Fury would be a great challenge for me. He [Joshua] can’t face Fury because he has signed a contract to fight me.

Besides, in this same contract, there are clauses featuring some serious compensations. Fury has a contract for a third fight with Deontay Wilder.
Neither I nor Wilder will give up on these fights. I will come up against Joshua and I will beat him!” Pulev concluded.

It therefore looks unclear who is going to feature in a likely heavyweight unification as things stand now. Will it be Fury vs Joshua, Fury vs Pulev, Wilder vs Joshua or Wilder vs Pulev.

We live all to the fighters to determine their fate as we await rumble day.
